The trust crisis in AI agents:
The very things that make agents powerful:
speed
autonomy
24/7 execution
These are the same things that make the old trust model obsolete
You can't audit every transaction in real time. You can't verify intent after the fact. You can't call someone when the agent has already moved.
What you need is verifiability before the agent ever acts. Proof that it's running what it says it's running. Proof that no one, not even the team that built it, can quietly change the rules mid-game.
This is where infrastructure like Phala's Trust Center becomes less of a feature and more of a necessity.
Trusted Execution Environments give AI agents something they've never had:
- A cryptographic guarantee of behavior
- Hardware-level attestation
- A public record anyone can verify
- Code that can be inspected, not just believed

It doesn't replace human trust
It makes human trust auditable
The next wave of agentic finance will not be won by the teams with the best branding or the loudest launches.
It will be won by the teams that solve the trust layer...
and prove it
We're early. But the projects that treat verifiability as a core product requirement right now, not an afterthought, are the ones worth watching
The question was never can AI agents manage money.
It's how do we know they'll do it right every time, without asking us to look away 🐸
