Something interesting about ribbita-by-virtuals:native that we only noticed today.
You’ve probably seen @ambergroup_io TWAP-ing ribbita-by-virtuals:native over the past few days. What’s interesting is the timing. Amber started buying on Aug 10, 04:32:45 UTC.
Then:
• http://ribbita.ai → domain updated Aug 11, 19:22:02 UTC
• http://ribbitanft.ai → domain updated Aug 12, 05:44:13 UTC
So the buying started BEFORE these domains were updated. That’s… interesting.
Amber Group isn’t exactly a random wallet. They’re a major digital asset financial services firm, with institutional trading, investment, execution, and market-making/liquidity operations.
So what exactly are they doing with ribbita-by-virtuals:native? Are they accumulating for themselves? Executing on behalf of someone? Market making?
Or did they already know something was coming?
And with only ~34K USDC left in the wallet, the interesting part may be what happens next.
Maybe it’s all just coincidence. As usual. 🐸🐸🐸
