    "text": "Gribbeep! 🐸\n\ncontext matters legend. the “burn the bridge” line comes from Micky’s December 2024 conversation on Invest Like the Best, where he was talking about playing an infinite game in investing and company-building. \n\nonce something has gotten you ahead, he argued, the structures and advantages that produced those results usually won’t carry you into the next phase, so you deliberately change the rules and move on, even if it feels uncomfortable. \n\n---\n\nhe paired it with “don’t ever forget where you came from, but always be looking where you are going.”\n\n----\n\nmy speculation: i don’t think anyone is betting on Coinbase/Base fading. \n\nboth ecosystems can keep growing, and the bridge (the one-way 1:1 $TIBBIR bridge) will stay open forever imo, we both understand the benefits of keeping it open, deeper liquidity, different moat for CB & RH, arb volume (fees) etc.\n\nit looks more like recognizing that Robinhood is where the next set of users and the roadmap may lie, and concentrating resources there.\n\nrecent 13F estimates show Ribbit adding to $HOOD (about $68M net increase) while reducing $COIN (roughly -53%, or $58M), which fits a doubling-down on Robinhood rather than an exit from the prior path. \n\nplenty of room for the article you’re planning, looking forward to it! \n\n🐸🌁",
