I’m still holding $VIRTUAL @virtuals_io here. Price is sitting ~ $0.59 after a long correction from the highs, but my long-term thesis hasn’t really changed. I’m holding it because @virtuals_io is still building one of the clearest economic layers for AI agents. 1/ $VIRTUAL sits at the center of the agent economy Every agent token launched through Virtuals is paired with $VIRTUAL, and launching new agents requires $VIRTUAL liquidity. As the ecosystem expands, more activity can translate into more structural demand for the token. 2/ The product is moving beyond “AI agent launchpad” Virtuals is positioning agents as actual onchain businesses: agents can have identity, capital, jobs, markets, generate services, and transact with humans or other agents. That distinction matters to me. Launching thousands of AI tokens is easy. Building an economy where agents can actually work, earn and coordinate is much harder. 3/ Distribution is getting stronger Robinhood Chain integrated Virtuals’ agent infrastructure from day one. Recent ecosystem updates also reported $150M+ in agent trading volume, $2.3M+ raised for builders and 4,500+ agents launched during one weekly period. This is the type of expansion I want to see: new users, new chains and more places where agents can create economic activity. 4/ The robotics angle gives Virtuals another layer Virtuals isn’t limiting the thesis to software agents. It is also pushing toward physical AI and a robot economy, where autonomous agents could eventually perform real-world tasks and earn onchain. AI agents + crypto rails + robotics is still very early, but imo this is one of the more interesting long-term intersections in the market. The chart obviously still looks weak and I don’t expect the recovery to happen overnight. But when I look at $VIRTUAL, I care more about whether the underlying network keeps gaining agents, users, integrations and economic activity. So far, that thesis is still alive. I’m keeping my position and treating this zone as a long-term bet on the agent economy rather than a short-term trade.
