The mystery surrounding $TIBBIR is interesting. But if you are looking at the facts you will see a thesis surround a whole new infrastructure. Here are the facts: → @RibbitCapital has backed companies including Crossmint and Persona, both operating in areas highly relevant to agentic finance, identity and payments. → Ribbit participated in a 2024 agentic-finance hackathon alongside OpenAI, Solana, Crossmint, Bridge and others. → Tempo, a stablecoin-native payments chain backed by major financial and crypto players, has included OpenAI, Visa and several Ribbit portfolio companies among its ecosystem participants. → Crossmint is already working with Visa on agentic commerce, while Coinbase and others are building infrastructure for autonomous agent wallets. → On-chain research has identified connections between wallets associated with Micky Malka and the wallet that deployed $TIBBIR. → TIBBIR was launched with 100% circulating supply and no traditional VC allocation, while its name is "Ribbit" inverted. Individually, some of these facts are interesting. Together, they form a much more interesting picture. The inference is that $TIBBIR may be connected to Ribbit's broader thesis around tokenization, digital identity, stablecoins and AI agents. ------------------------------------------------- And this is where the asymmetric bet gets interesting. AI agents will need infrastructure to: → establish identity → prove authorization → hold assets → make payments → interact with financial institutions → build reputation → transact with other agents Ribbit has been investing and building around many of these primitives. The much bigger speculation is that $TIBBIR eventually becomes a central coordination or value-accrual layer for this emerging agentic economy. That's the bet. Not "AI will be big."
